Busy as a dozen eggs.
I have been very busy of late. In October we were the first, of the seven wards in our stake to host a single adult luncheon. Before they had been hosted by two "little old ladies" that is the description our stake Relief Society president gave them. They finally got tired of doing it them selves and asked for help. We just got the luck of the draw I guess. We had chili, rolls, toss salad, and we bought Marie Callendar Frozen pies for some of our single adult sisters to bake. The age of the group ranged from 30 and up. There were some twenty people there. There was one man. They seemed to enjoy the meal and each others company. That was on November 1st. The night before, because if was Halloween I went with Paula and the kids to the downtown Tooele stores where people in contumes handed out candy to people and kids in customes, most of them. I wore my bright green levies, my green turtle neck shirt, my bright hunter orange sweatshirt with a pumpkin face painted on it and a bright yellow-green baseball cap that I sewed big bright green leaves to . Quinton was there with his spiderman costume. Emma was there with Trenton and his three younger sisters.I believe Paula can get Susan some pictures I think she took some. I did not bring my camera, like a dunce. Later they came to our trunk or treat at our church parking lot. Our bishop was dressed like a Father with a black shirt, black suit and a white collar turned backward. One of the ladies in our ward Ann Jenkins went up to him and said Father Condie, I'm sorry I forgot my appointment for my confession. She said he did not know what to say but smiled. She and her funny visiting partner Kaye Horrocks, your former first grade teacher went to Beverly Eltons, Margene Parishes and two other ladies homes for their visiting teaching; however they were decked out like witches with make-up and wigs. They are a hoot together. Ann said they have some pictures I will have to let her show them to me.
